Kinlochmoidart House is a comfortable Scots Baronial mansion located within a 5000 acre estate on the West Coast of Scotland about an hour’s drive from Fort William. The house stands on the shores of Loch Moidart with the coast approximately 1½ miles away and the beach at Glenuig 4 miles away. Activities include extensive hill walking and trout fishing on the estate’s hill lochs and there is a golf course within 30 minute’s drive. This houseparty is limited to a total of 38 adults. As you might expect of an old Scottish family home, Kinlochmoidart has limited bathrooms and peaty water! Please note that, unfortunately, single rooms are very limited.
Our week is aimed primarily at those who would relish the chance to take time out and draw closer to God in the midst of a busy working life. There will be a speaker who will give a series of talks in the morning followed by discussion groups and the format for the week will provide ample opportunity for worship, prayer, fellowship and ministry. In the afternoons there will be plenty of time to experience all that the surrounding countryside and seaside has to offer, as well as time in the evenings to relax and enjoy each other’s company following a leisurely dinner.
Due to its small size and its remote setting, this houseparty has a particularly intimate feel. Do come and join us and especially if you have not been on a Stewards’ Trust houseparty before or are thinking about coming again after a period away. We plan to retain a few places for newcomers.
