Rydal Hall - The Lake District

This new houseparty is using the re-furbished Rydal Hall for the first time. In addition to our normal teaching programme, there will be two resident art tutors for those who wish to paint. They will be available both for beginners, and the more experienced and adventurous. Situated between Keswick and Ambleside there are extensive opportunities for fell-walking. Our speaker will be focusing on creativity, and looking at the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus in the history of art. Rydal Hall is the conference, retreat and holiday centre for the diocese of Carlisle. This houseparty, which is for adults of any age, will begin late on Sunday afternoon and finish after lunch on Friday. The programme will be flexible in order to make the most of prevailing weather conditions.
