It's a word that that has been challenging me in the last week. Am I bold in my faith? Are you bold in your faith?
I have just returned from Northern Ireland, where I was at a conference called ‘Encounter More’. It was put on by a church called Causeway Coast Vineyard. They are a church whose culture and vision is to reach the lost. It is no good God being just in the church building, because the reality is the lost is outside the building. They take God to the streets of N.Ireland and are seeing the most incredible stories of reconciliation, healing and salvation.
They challenged the whole conference, 1000 people, to come out with them on the streets to tell people about Jesus for one hour. It impacted me hugely to see that only 200 people took up the challenge out of 1000. Are we bold enough to speak about our faith? Out of those 200 people, they approached 1200 people in one hour. Out of the 1200 people approached, 770 people allowed us to pray for them, out of those 770 people we prayed for, 29 people said the salvation prayer at the end. A further 27 people were completely healed. Stats are just stats, but the one thing I know for certain, is in that one hour alone 770 people were told that they were loved by a loving Father.
MY CHALLENGE I LEAVE YOU AND MYSELF IS -
ARE YOU BOLD IN YOUR FAITH?
“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”
