He Is For You

Hey girls!

I’ve been thinking a lot about this Bible email and how to encourage you this week. It seems that the loudest message we are hearing right now is doom and gloom with big events being cancelled, social distancing encouraged and schools being closed (maybe that’s something you’re celebrating!). We want to choose to face these days with the opposite spirit. Now, more than ever, we can turn negatives into positives.

Here are a couple of verses I’ve been reading daily over this week to remind myself of the bigger picture, that we have a God who blesses us, makes his face shine upon us and gives us peace. He is the Prince of Peace, after all.

‘The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.’ Numbers 6:24-26

Rather than giving in to fear we can look to God who is bigger than any circumstance and gives us infinite peace and joy. I’m choosing to see this time as a way to press more into God’s presence – I’ve never had time like this before. I have two questions for you;

How can you take a positive view on the current situation we are in?

What are you going to be doing to strengthen your spiritual life?

I would love to hear your suggestions!

Let’s keep encouraging each other, listening to each other and spending time together virtually. We have so much to still be thankful for and we can be more connected than ever.  We’re even moving to online mentoring!

Here’s a song I’ve been listening to each day as well as I get ready to set up my workspace – turn it up full blast and sing it out, it’s brilliant!
