Jimi Gale (Chief Executive)
The switch from banking to leading a Christian charity is not an obvious one, but Jimi is learning that God often leads us in unexpected ways. Jimi is married to Annie and they have three children and a miniature schnauzer. Like the dog, Jimi loves being outdoors and is happiest in the mountains or by the sea. Unlike the dog, he also loves singing and strumming away on a guitar. Jimi is passionate about men's ministry and families growing in faith together.
Jemimah Wright (Youth Director)
Jemimah joined the team in 2015. Previously she was a journalist for the national press, and also wrote biographies. Her favourite is of a girl who died in a bomb in the Middle East. She went to heaven, saw Jesus face to face, and came back to life to tell the world He is real! Jemimah has lived in Cape Town helping to start a home for AIDS orphans, and more recently in Hong Kong working with St Stephen's Society.
Helen Paterson (Family Director - Designated Safeguarding Officer)
Helen is passionate about seeing the goodness of God in the whole of life and helping others to do the same. She lives in Cambridge with her husband Andy and children, Katie, Murray and Daniel recently joined by Cleo the miniature Labradoodle. She believes in Irish rugby, the joy and significance of families growing in faith together and the highest quality in chocolate brownies.
George Bryans (Youth & Student Worker)
George is from London, but went to boarding school at Windlesham House School and then Bradfield College. He grew up going on Stewards' Trust youth events, and since leaving school he has helped lead on various youth and summer camps. He has been lucky enough to have two gap years: on the first one he went to Hong Kong to work with Jackie Pullinger and the St. Stephens Society; and on the second one he went to YWAM Perth (Australia, not Scotland) to do a DTS, during which he went to Burma, Kolkata and Malaysia. He is passionate about football and cricket. George loves spending time with friends and building deep friendships.
Lucy Green (Youth & student Worker)
Lucy grew up in south London and is a proud Londoner. She graduated with a degree in Theology and Youth Ministry from St. Mellitus College. While training as a youth worker, she spent most of her time on council estates with XLP’s youth bus (a converted double-decker youth club) painting peoples' nails and chatting. She loves spending time with friends drinking tea, discovering new places and visiting her parents who live in Ibiza and work for 24/7 Prayer. She feels passionately about community, and young people knowing that they have inherent value given to them by God.
Al is from East London and alongside working for the Steward’s Trust, he studies Theology, Ministry and Mission at St Mellitus College and regularly mucks in with the staff team at his church, St Peter’s Bethnal Green. His happy place is having lunch with a friend with a huge plate of pasta on the table, and tries to make that happen as often as he can! Al spent his gap year working in the House of Commons as a researcher, and loves nothing more than to chat politics, theology or sport over a cup of tea. On Saturdays he and his Dad can usually be found in Twickenham at The Stoop supporting their beloved Harlequins.
