Gently Gently

Recently, Tori and Cait travelled to Sherborne School in Dorset where Tori gave a talk on gentleness to their CU.

What better way to understand gentleness than to hold an animal that requires you to be gentle with them? Tori had contacted a local petting zoo, and they brought in chicks, guinea-pigs and rabbits for the girls to hold as Tori spoke. The girls absolutely loved it!

Tori talked about what happens when we live God’s way. He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like... love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23 - mash up of Message translation and NIV)

Caitlin supported Tori on the visit and said: ‘Hats off to Tori! Any lesson that manages to incorporate stroking rabbits, chicks and guinea-pigs is an absolute win.’
