Our student and adult events create space to reconnect, build new friendships and be refreshed in faith.
We support young adults through student years and beyond, with weekends away and ongoing connection.
For older adults, our residential events and Days of Encouragement offer teaching, worship and prayer in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Afternoons are free for relaxing or exploring as part of your holiday.
Whatever your stage in life, you’re invited to join us as we grow together in faith.
Come and be part of the adventure!
FAQs
I've never been to a Stewards' Trust event before - will everyone else know each other?
No, there are always new people at our events. We love having newcomers and the whole atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It’s a great opportunity to make new friends.
What does a typical day look like?
Houseparties vary, but most of the spiritual content happens in the morning and after supper. In the morning there is worship, a talk, coffee and then groups. In the afternoon there are other activities on offer before coming together for supper and the evening meeting. We tend to have one evening towards the end of our time together that is more social and celebratory.
What sort of afternoon activities are on offer?
A great variety including walks, visits to local places of interest, trips to the sea and time to yourself.
I'm single - will I enjoy it?
Yes! We have a mix of singles and marrieds at all our events and it works very well for both. We move people around each evening at supper so everybody gets to know lots of different people and not sit in the same places!
Are any of the activities optional?
We encourage everybody to join in with the spiritual side, but the afternoon activities are completely optional.
Will I have to pray in front of other people?
No, everyone is free to be themselves and nobody will be asked to pray out loud or contribute to discussions unless they want to. The atmosphere is encouraging and accepting.
What are the Bible study groups like?
During the houseparty people are divided into groups for the week, where they discuss the talks and look at the Bible together. The leaders are aware that some people may want to contribute more than others, but every effort is made to ensure that everyone feels happy and content.
What's the format of the main meetings?
There is worship, a reading and then a talk from the Bible explaining the passage and applying it to our lives.
